| Brenda
Fraser has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit fund raising,
board development, event management, major donor fundraising and public
relations. She has been responsible for short-term and long-term
campaigns and is known for her breakthrough strategic planning skills.
Brenda has consulted with many nonprofit organizations including: St.
Louis Center for International Relations, Sing for the Cure Colorado,
Spirit Seeker Magazine, Discovering Options, the Center for Spiritual
Living, Salon d’Arts, Colorado Lawyers for the Arts, Denver Rescue
Mission, Pendulum Foundation, PSI World, Thorne Ecological Institute,
Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary, Imagine Peace Foundation,
Little Voice, Southern Plains Land Trust, Global Response, the Denver
Opera Company, The Center for Visionary Leadership, and the Women’s
Public Policy and Law Fellowship program at Georgetown University Law
Center. Other organizations she has been affiliated with include the
American Red Cross, Boulder County AIDS Project, and the Colorado
Symphony Association. While in Washington, D.C. for 14 years, Brenda
worked with the American Cancer Society, the Human Rights Campaign,
PFLAG national, and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum during its
inaugural year where she successfully launched a $1.5 million dollar
campaign within an affinity group. |
Brenda
has helped several nonprofits get started including Citizens Against
Speeding and Aggressive Driving, the Center for Visionary Leadership,
Prairie Dog Action, and the Imagine Peace Foundation. She has organized
national conferences for a variety of groups such as the Foundation on
Ethics and Meaning, Women Military Aviators, as well as national civil
rights conferences and meetings. Currently, Brenda is Membership
Chairperson for the National Center for Community Relations,
tutors/mentors with Denver Metro Partners, and was named “Professional
Woman of the Year” in 2003 by the Colorado Business Council. |
